Ciovo consists of small traditional Dalmatian villages, one of which is Mavarstica, located on the south side of the island and known for its many beautiful pebble beaches and hidden bays. The most beautiful beach is undoubtedly the White beach, which can only be accessed by foot but whose crystal clean sea and the beautiful view of the middle-dalmatian islands Solta and Brac will leave anyone breathless. All of these attributes make Mavarstica an ideal destination for a peaceful and relaxing family vacation. Mavarstica has a grocery shop, a restaurant and a cafe, while the nearby village of Okrug Gornji has various restaurants and taverns with great offer of Dalmatian specialties and domestic vine, grocery shops, ATM machines, a green market and a post office.
